Moving & Handling


This course is ideal for healthcare workers who care for ill and disabled people who may need assistance in moving around in the safest possible way; minimising health risks and back, neck and shoulder injuries for both the care worker and the patient. This course is also suitable for people working in different industries whose occupation involves manual handling.

Assessment / Certification


The Manual Handling Assessment Charts(MAC)
MAC, developed by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) assess staff in three types of assessments:

1.   Lifting Operations

2.     Carrying Operations

3.     Team handling Operations

MAC is useful for employers’ identifying high risk handling operations in their organisation’s which could go unnoticed.
